Why you need to have a schedule even if you work from home

The past week or so I got away from my set schedule for my home based business.  Let me tell you, the results have not been to pleasing.

Having a set goal or task for your online business will help keep you on track and keep your content fresh and exciting.  If you do not keep a sense of structure in you home based job you will most likely get off track and in turn not accomplish as much as you would if you had a set task to accomplish.

I'm not saying you need some perfect business model and a blueprint to your success. (if you do have one thats great but most people do not) But to have a set goal for the day and some sort of time constraints as you would with any other job.  Try to wake up at a reasonable time, eat breakfast, check emails, blog post draft, surf TE's, lunch, watch tv/read a book.   Something as simple as this list will get you through your day and you will have achieved your goal for the day. Some days might be more busy than others but, in the long run it will get your task completed.

Do you have a daily plan?

This is a very important skill to have developed. Discipline and scheduling can make or break work at home marketers. I know that I keep to a loose schedule as far as my blog goes. I try to post on Mondays and Thursdays while commenting on other blogs as I find time and see fit to do so. My dad takes care of most of the TE surfing since he surfs about 15 different Traffic Exchanges for 250-500 sites each daily. With our combined efforts, we are able to achieve great results without feeling overwhelmed too quickly.

Time to get back on schedule and start developing our business even further!

    Thanks,

  2. Thanks for the feedback Steven,
I like how you work with your father, a team effort helps in almost any case and with something like internet marketing there is a lot to get done and for a single individual can be extremely overwhelming. Good to hear that you are acchieving good results keep me posted on how every thing is going for you.

    Thanks again,
